Our clients and our staff are the most important assets of our business, we thank them for their efforts and support; we have been privileged to have worked with them.
Since the firm’s inception we have embraced an approach to our work and to our relationships with Clients which over the years has made CARIFRO a company our staff can be proud to be working for.
Major projects in which CARIFRO has been involved include continuing developments at the East London Industrial Development Zone, an ISO 14000 certified international standard manufacturing facility, work at Mercedes Benz of South Africa (one of our longest standing Clients), the upgrading and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical services to many of the provincial hospitals and clinics, electrical master planning for the Coega development corporation and the electrical / electronic systems design for the new Desalination Plant for Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, ADM Offices PPP, the Steve Biko Centre in Ginsberg.
We have learnt that success depends not only on our skills and competence but more on the people with whom we work. For the fourth year running we are proud to have achieved a SANAS certified Level One B-BBEE rating, a result which shows our commitment to change and our endeavour towards making a difference in the built environment industry. CARIFRO is a proud member of the Green Building Council of South Africa with an accredited Green Building Professional.
In keeping with our endeavours to manage quality at our workplace we have upgraded the firm’s ISO9001 quality rating in all offices to the new 2010 ISO standard and have committed to continue achieving the ISO quality certification. All our offices have been audited and have achieved the ISO 9001 benchmark for quality.
Our efforts to make a positive impact in our industry do not end with our practice but extend to the shared vision of this country’s future and beyond the bounds of our traditional fields of work.
